Bounty started when its founders kept watching capable people get stuck between jobs they couldn't take and work that clearly needed doing.
The tools out there either niched you into one category or treated you like a lead to be sold. Bounty is the on-ramp they wished existed: post almost any task, set your price, and a verified neighbor picks it up.
How we run it
Money doesn't move until the work does.
Held, not taken
Stripe holds the poster's payment from the moment they post. The hunter is paid once the poster confirms the job is done, and not before.
Everyone is ID-verified
Government ID, front and back, before anyone can post or claim a bounty. When something goes wrong, a real person reviews it.
Small, early, and real
We show our actual numbers, dated, and we'd rather show real stories than invented ones. If a number is small, it stays small until it isn't.
